Invisible Ethernet 1000 Model Identification

There have been several different models of Invisible Ethernet 1000. The following chart explains how to determine which model you have.

All Invisible Ethernet 1000 boards are NE-1000 compatible, 8-bit, ISA Ethernet boards.

The chart lists all Invisible Ethernet 1000 models (except for a few early models that were sold in very small quantity). The models are listed approximately in chronological order, with the oldest models listed first. For each model, we give "identifying characteristics" which distinguish that model from all other models. We have deliberately selected characteristics based on the physical appearance of the board, so you can identify the model even if the board isn't working.

For each model, there is also a link for downloading the instruction manual, which in most cases includes a board diagram, specifications, and jumper settings. To read the manual, you need an Acrobat Reader. Please visit Adobe's Web page to download a free copy of Acrobat Reader.
